Everything at PeppinoPeppino is made in Italy, with good intentions. From the first idea to the final quality check, each piece is produced entirely in Italy using Italian raw materials. Keeping production close allows us to stay closely involved at every step.

We work with the same trusted suppliers we’ve partnered with from the beginning. Our structure remains closer to a mom-and-pop operation than a conventional brand, allowing us to follow production personally and closely.

Most fabrics, trims and labels are sourced locally, with limited, considered exceptions such as Japanese deadstock fabrics. Our denim is washed in Italy at one of the country’s most established laundries, using techniques designed to reduce chemical impact.

We choose materials carefully – organic, recycled and conversion cottons, deadstock fabrics when possible and a vegan back patch made from Viridis, a corn-based alternative to leather.

Too often materials travel across continents simply to complete production, accumulating an invisible environmental cost along the way. By producing close to the needle, we reduce unnecessary transportation and consider the full impact of the supply chain.

We produce in small batches, making just enough to satisfy demand – not to chase cost savings through mass production. We don’t do this to check a sustainability box. It’s simply how we want to work.
